In the first quarter of 2025, the top news and magazines applications in Poland demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw its weekly revenue peak at around $13.9K in late February. Weekly downloads started at 23.8K, declining to 17.3K by the end of March. The app maintained a steady user base, with active users hovering around 2.6M.

Radio Republika experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting at 36.9K and falling to just over 500. Active users decreased from 75.5K in January to around 28.1K by March.

Opera News: breaking & local maintained stable active user numbers, averaging around 39K. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 3.3K and dropping to just over 300 by the end of the quarter.

Breaking News: Local & Alerts had a consistent weekly active user count, peaking at 70.5K in January. Downloads saw a notable decline from 3.6K to approximately 400.

Substack showed a gradual increase in active users, reaching over 11.4K by March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked modestly at $70 in early January.
